YIN YANG FENG SHUI
This type of Feng Shui is more describing the way that energy flows around your house, and it shows you how you can align yourself, and so be at one with that energy. This style is about achieving balance between the dualities and different types of energies. It is mainly trying to balance the Yin and Yang energies, or the positive and negative energy affects, without there existing or being created an overabundance and build up of any particular type of energy form.
Feng Shui governs every type of energy and even the energy in the foods that you eat are subject to greater understanding from applying this knowledge. Think about how you arrange the foods on your plate, even the order of eating your foods, and the types of food that complement, or clash with each other.
Feng Shui is the study of invisible magnetic lines of energy, and aims to balance the yin and yang inherent in these flows. The more balanced the flow of energy the easier will your life flow as well.

The Lo P'an, or Feng Shui compass is used to assist the master in his calculations of the energy flows and directions. Traditionally a Lo P'an compass has a red square base, representing earth. This allows it to be aligned against buildings, using two red threads acting as the compass needles. The compass is complex with twenty or more inner dials surrounding the central compass. These segmented sections all have their particular individual meanings.
The Feng Shui expert jealously guards his secret interpretational knowledge and understanding of exactly how this all works.
