stopped driving cars and polluting the world with our dirty industries tomorrow, would Global Warming stop happening? Nope, not a chance. Should we clean up our industries and our air for better quality of life regardless of this fact? Absolutely!

So what do we do then? Do we just do nothing? Or do we try and halt Global Warming? Or do we prepare for Global Warming? Not believing that humanity can prevent the Earth from getting warmer is almost taboo in this period of hysteria, but that's exactly what I'm saying, and what I'm arguing here is that let's not take the foot off the pedal so to speak, and continue to become better citizens of our misused and abused planet, but let's also get real about Global Warming, and start making preparations for its occurrence.

We must be ready for the massive changes that are going to occur in our weather in the coming years. We must better prepare our emergency services, and better prepare our resources for defense against the rising seas and the ever more violent storms, sever droughts, and tragic flooding. We have it within our power to do this, but we're not doing it.

There is nothing wrong with being conscious about the environment and reducing your amount of trash you dispose of. There is nothing wrong with reducing pollution and protecting our forests and animals. It will help improve our quality of life, and our health, but it will not prevent Global Warming. So yes, action is needed, on a number of levels for a number of reasons, but trying to stop Global Warming is just a big fat waste of time. It's going to happen whether we like it or not, and it might even subside. The Earth might even start cooling again. It goes in cycles people. History tells us that. We might end up in an ice age 100 years from now for all we know. We can't predict those types of things yet. We just need to adapt and prepare ourselves for what the Earth throws at us. Let's stop destroying our environment, but don't be misguided into thinking that it is going to stop the Earth from doing what it's doing. Let's get real about that, and make preparations for what the Earth is about to throw at us.
