Single Women's and Single Men's Bedrooms
To encourage romance in your life, create a sensual environment in your bedroom. Replace furniture and belongings that carry strong memories of a previous relationship and move family photographs to another room.
A pile of stuffed animals or pillows on the bed can give the impression that the space is already fully occupied. Exercise equipment should be moved to another room, stored in a closet, or hidden by a screen. Overly feminine or masculine bedrooms are not inviting to the opposite sex.
When looking to become a couple, decorate in pairs. Instead of a single candle on a dresser top, arrange two together. Replace art that depicts solitary people or animals with pictures that portrays pairs and provide a nightstand and lamp on either side of the bed.
Guest Bedrooms
If you have a separate guest bedroom in your home, avoid shutting it off when you do not have guests. Often guest bedrooms become junk rooms that are cleaned out before company arrives. This can drain energy from your home.
Consider designing a guest bedroom with multiple uses. A guest bedroom can double as a sewing or reading room, or even as a home office. Instead of having a traditional bed, you can add a sofa bed, futon, Murphy bed, or air bed.
Incorporating simple Feng Shui principles in each bedroom of your home will promote positive energy and a restful retreat for every member of your family.
