Organic farming and world hunger

it works and what positive results can be had by putting these newer natural farming methods into practice is convincing proof. Now more countries are convinced and are getting involved.

The fact that people are dying from hunger and that this need not be is waking up the world to what can be accomplished when enough people get involved in finding solutions to this tragedy.

The biggest selling point is that as the environment improves the natural way of growing food improves and it is a continuing process, not a depleting process.

When organic fertilizers are used as opposed to harsh chemical fertilizers that are immediate but soon deplete the soil, then the growing conditions are enhanced. Everyone wins in this kind of food production.

Organic gardening is not really anything new. It was once the kind of farming and gardening that was done before big business started producing commercially everything a farmer once had to produce for himself. Left alone to fend for themselves the old time farmers knew how to take care of their soil. Now, suddenly, the world is remembering how it once was, it could be again. It is sad, however, that many have to die before the lesson of sustainable agriculture is learned.
