Secrets I Learned in the Pentagon as a private in the US Army.
Or how I saved the world from total destruction by nuclear war.

humans are intellectually stuck in the stone age.

This article is about my personal experiences and my own opinions. I am a free thinker, meaning I am not a theist, not an atheist, nor a member of any religion, nor do I believe in any preconceived ideas. If there is a pattern in my beliefs, then I will break that pattern. If you see a pattern, I will break your prejudice.

I am not Mahatma Gandhi, nor a passive, nor an aggressive, preacher nor teacher, nor do I have anything to tell you that you must believe, or that could be called absolute truth. If you need someone to tell you what to believe, or what your experiences mean, then I am not your man. Simply put, I am only a messenger.

Free thinking is one of the most important secrets that I learned in the Pentagon. My first sergeant, a huge Croatian man, was the first person, whom I had ever met, who claimed to be a free thinker. He never went into any details about why, or how, to believe anything, he simply refused to tell anyone what to believe.

At the time that I worked in the Pentagon, 21 months, from 1962 to the end of 1963, I was a Roman Catholic, and I attended Mass, Confession, and Communion, almost every day, inside the Pentagon, or in a nearby chapel. This was a surprise to me, that prayer services of many types were held daily in the Pentagon.

My duty in the Pentagon was the result of being drafted into the US Army by order of President John F. Kennedy. I was not a willing draftee, in fact I considered becoming an objector to any military service, up to the very minute that we were required to take the oath and enter two years of active duty in December 1961.

My education was in the sciences, chemistry, physics, biology, and other natural sciences, with laboratory courses, and some work experiences in medical research labs. I trust the scientific method to provide a template for the development of current facts and assumptions about the cosmos, and the physical reality.

My personal ideas in cosmology include the possibility of an infinite set of universes, each one an infinite set of physical information, matter, and energy. None of them are exactly the same, nor do I think that they repeat some variation of the human experience. If there are other worlds, they are very different from ours.
