eBay allows you to cancel your listings for certain circumstances including errors in the listing, item becomes broken or lost, and no longer available for sale. These things can happen occasionally but should not become a habit as it could raise a red flag if you are canceling listings frequently.

Three small steps will allow you to cancel an eBay listing.

1) Login to your account.

2) Click on My eBay tab at the top of the page.(Should come up as your summary if not select that portion of My eBay)

3) Once in the summary area of My eBay select end item from the drop down menu of the item you wish to cancel.

This will take you through the process. You will be required to select one of these reasons:

The item is no longer available for sale.
There was an error in the starting price or reserve amount.
There was an error in the listing.
The item was lost or broken.

Then click the End My Listing button just below these options.

Ending for most any other reason can be a violation of eBay policy. You should read these policies before ending your listing if it is for any other reason.
