Roderick's body tingled with a soft warmth as he slowly returned to consciousness, blinking dazedly. The paralyzing numbness slowly subsided, leaving him to regain control and flex his joints, moaning softly and tiredly.
"Damnit, Tryst...side effects may include..." he mumbled to himself as he staggered to his feet, holding his head. Roderick looked on in a daze out from a tall balcony. Roderick wobbled his way to the edge and suddenly the dazed eyes in his head sprung to life and shot wide open as he gazed at the world below. He soon realized just how far up he was: he knew he had to be hundreds of feet above the ground. He looked up and down at the building he found himself in. It was a large, white stone tower that, at his current standing point, seemed to stretch beyond the sky. Roderick, terrified by where he found himself, backed up slowly. he wanted to be as far from the edge as possible. Suddenly, the foot that stepped back failed to touch the ground, and Roderick fell backwards, tumbling down a short stairwell.
"Oww! Damnit!...ahh...my head" Roderick whined as he stood up, holding his head.

She was almost camouflaged, save for her two eyes that seemed as if they were two drops of blood in a winter snowbank. Roderick stared in awe at the angelic vision of a woman before him and wondered "Could this be my mother?".
"Y-yes I...I'm looking for someone. can you help me, miss?"
"Well, who is it you are looking for, sweet one?"
"My...my mother. Lady Stellune" The lady in the soft white bed smiled softly and nodded to him.
"I am she...Tesla, this is a blessing to see you. I pray you forgive me. It was selfish for me to interrupt your peaceful life with such sudden actions. I just wanted to see you before my time was over."
Roderick froze where he stood, his eyes transfixed and widening at the sudden revelation of his mother's presence.
"Y-you're my mother?"
He very slowly approached the bed until he was at the bedside. He couldn't believe it. This
