Why Tibet wants its independence from China

by Chaz Z.

Everywhere I look, I see the ancient lies of China and communism once again winning minds simply by persistent re-utterance of those lies. Study the Tibetan history, (NOT according to China) and you will find, Tibet was, is and always has been a nation of people inhabiting the same land as far back as world records can discover. The geographic location of this people is not the only factor proving a border of a nationality of people. For thousands of years the Tibetan people went a completely different direction in matters of society, religion, and even choices of cuisine then their neighbors.

Of course, they, and several other world entities were at war during different periods of this earth's existence, Britain, Mongolia etc but never, did one war end with Tibetans giving away the farm. To this day, the Tibetans, both within the border and without, put their hopes and base their (rightful) argument on a declaration between Chinese and Tibetan leaders inscribed on stone in the early ninth century. A declaration that both parties agreed and inscribed, saying; Tibet had full right to be "Great Tibet;" and China had a right to be "Great China." No one can say with assuredness, but given the fact history shows Tibetans actually taking hold of the Chinese capitol shortly before this treaty was signed, I think it is safe to assume; Tibet had the upper hand at this time and China had their backs against the wall. From that time on, we have witnessed and the Tibetans and other nations have experienced what China, Russia and "all" communistic governments do. When their back is against the wall, they succumb to whatever document and agreement gets the heat off them, whether they agree with it or not. Then, as we have watched with the so called "end of the cold war," they use that time to regroup, rebuild and acquire the means they need to subvert their own word in those treaties, and revert back to applying the pressures of Communism. Anyone who bought the lie that communism was dead after Gorbachev "tore down that wall," is as deceived as the Tibetan people have been over and over again since they believed it in 822 A.D.

Nonetheless, these people have every right to return and hold their original homeland, and the time has come for the world to snap out its communist induced trance of lies and help them succeed. I am absolutely disgusted at how Communism is born and implants itself. It is exactly the way we were warned it would be as children in grade school.
