Creativity
The stories from
within your mind,
you wish to share,
let others find
the joy you have,
the tales you bring,
you give them out
or else you sing.
You entertain
with twinkling eyes,
you make them laugh,
you make them cry.
You love them all,
they all love you,
whether or not
your tales are true.
And maybe, then,
after you tell,
they'll tap their own
creative well!

Every day is like a book without and end
Each page is clearly written and carefully penned
Like a roundabout without stopping
Measures
Some poets measure words
like ingredients in a recipe.
Some choose words
from a candy store,
a bit too sweet,
or food
I must write, I always have
Once to record my childhood, sad
My only expression was paper and pen
To release childhood
My light flickers dimly but I press on,
rabidly, craving your touch.
The cold, black ribbon touches my skin,
wrapping over
