how do you tell if motorcycle riding is right for you , ? well if you are reading this article i suppose you are more than curious so have a go ! go to the local police station and ask for training schemes or try the local phone book . many local schools have motorbike training in the grounds on the days that the school children are not there. have a basic lesson , this might learning to start the bike and doing some riding in a safe surprised manner . do not under any circumstances ask your mate Fred to have a go of his bike on a local Field . learn the proper way . you will be taught things like the "lifesaver" something that will save you life and your mate Fred has never heard of . the other point if you were to try riding your mate Fred's bike , you would more than likely fall off doing damage not only to yourself probably a lot of monetary damage to Fred's bike. if you enjoy your small lesson , why not book up to pass your test. and heres a friendly warning to anyone riding a bike who hasn't passed their test yet , rules will be changing soon . you will inevitably have to travel further to take your test . and it will probably cost more to take it ,so book that test sooner rather than later. another word of advice for people who have already may have a bike license but have not rode bikes for years . take training . bikes have improved loads since you rode that soppy scooter in the sixties. (most people who return to ride without training have a very serious accident) don't be a statistic be safe , take training. those people who ride regularly i recomend an advanced driving test. if you take this course you will be a better rider guaranteed also you will get a reduction in your insurance premium . what cant be a bad thing .
