I would have to argue that there is not a negative correlation between the IQ of a student and their sexual promiscuity. In fact, if anything, quite the opposite is true - those with a higher IQ are more likely to have an active sex life, and to be willing to enjoy a much wider and freer variety of sexual activities. There appears to be a genuine correlation between a persons' intelligence and the consequences, variety of, and individual satisfaction with their sexual activities. Students who are more intelligent are less likely to have children, especially at a younger age. And there is a higher percentage of intelligent people among the gay and other "alternative" lifestyle populations.

Students with a higher IQ, while not less likely to have an active sex life, are in general less likely to either have children, or have more than one or two. While there are many exceptions to this trend, of course, it is much more likely for someone with a higher IQ to be dissatisfied at the prospect of being "merely" a parent, and will want to "make something of their life". They will tend to have more goals, and will strive for them, rather than tying themselves down early with children and other responsibilities. The will take the necessary precautions to keep their sex lives from interfering with their personal and long-term goals. Again, there are exceptions. Even smart people can be dumb.

Those with more intelligence are also more likely to make their own rules about sex, and not be satisfied with just following what the general herd does. Thus, I am NOT stating that gay people are more intelligent than straight people, to the contrary, I believe the percentage of homosexual people is roughly the same everywhere, in all walks of life, in all intelligence ranges, all religions, and all countries. It is just that you will find that a person with a higher IQ is more likely to accept that they ARE homosexual, and a person with a more average intelligence will not want to be singled out, and will have a harder time accepting these things about themselves. Therefore, the "straight" population has a much higher percentage of people of average-intelligence than the "gay" population. I use the homosexual population as an example here, because though this same trend is true with most alternative sexualities and lifestyles, the homosexual population is the best-known and most convenient example. People with higher IQs tend to be more individual, more willing to express themselves openly, more willing to follow their own interests and figure out what is best for themselves, and more willing to rock the boat, and show their dissatisfactions with the general trends or the status quo.

In fact, many of those with a higher IQ actually become interested in sexual play, the differences between boys and girls, and similar things at a significantly younger age than their peers. Their more-active minds and higher levels of curiosity compel them into this interesting realm of discovery earlier. Therefore, I have to give this question an unhesitating "no".
