Being Thankful, for my family and friends.
Being Thankful, able to bless my Lord and say amen.
Being Thankful for the strangers I meet.
Being Thankful for the food I eat.
Im Thankful truly I must say, for everything belive it or not.
As I apporach the holidays I can't help but to sit and think,reminicse over the good and bad times me and my family share no matter what we come together each year. Seeing grandpa sit in his favorite chair, as a kid I remember jumping up there on his leg cranking his ear for the ride to start,oh my heart. Uncle Jim outside getting things in gear all my aunties and mom in the kitchen preparing the main meal, grandma directing as the kids run all over the place really there's no space me my cusins having fun enjoying each other, now that's grace I wouldn't trade it for anything. Being Thankful.
Now we've approached the new year another to discover now things have changed,but the family remains the same,as we give thanks now we pray for the ones we've lost throughout the years sometimes, I wish they were here.The family is bigger than before. visions still clear only now Im in grandpa's chair and family still here, with little space some how the Lord replaced our hearts to remain with the main, Love and how to Be Thankful.
