Moving day: a looked forward to event or a dreaded one, where do you stand?

Moving has been listed as one of the most stressful events among having a child, getting married, and changing jobs. If you have gone through several moves I am sure you know what we are talking about and you would wish there was a way to skip the whole process or find a way to make it a more pleasant experience.

If we really think about it moving is not simply just switching residence and meeting new neighbors. Rather, moving is a total life changing event that in a way or another affects our overall sense of security. Routines are totally disrupted and friendships are lost as long time memories fade away as we prepare to leave the home we have cherished and lived in for a long time.

It is no wonder why therefore, we feel so disoriented and overwhelmed.

We must consider as well, that moving does not take place on the actual date you leave your home to get into the new home, rather moving is a lengthy process that really actually starts from when you started projecting the move.

After all, with all the preparations and the expectations it is no surprise that when the real moving date arrives you end up feeling both physically and emotionally drained.
But no need to despair, there are little simple things that can be done to refresh your body, mind and spirit and help you cope with all the accumulated stress.

I will offer some refreshing tips that will help you through the process.

- Start fresh amidst lilac lavender valleys.
You can start out the day by taking a relaxing warm bath and adding a few drops of essential lavender oil. Lavender has been known for years to be a natural mild sedative with good muscle relaxant properties and its wonderful sweet fragrance will nourish and sooth your senses. Following the relaxing bath you may want to choose wisely a fragrance that will be trustworthy so to keep you fresh and great smelling along the way.

-Go with routine
There are various choices when it comes to deciding the best option. Fragrances come in many different shapes and sizes today, you may consider deodorants, colognes, body sprays or scented lotions. This is a personal preference and you should go with what you are comfortable with and have had a good experience in the past.

-Stay subtle
You want to have on something that is subtle, pleasant and makes you feel fresh. Stay away from heavy over-fragranced products as very likely you will get tired of them pretty quickly and give a headache to
