Society and the pressure of being beautiful is everywhere to name a few, you see it in ads, billboards, stores, tv, it becomes an obsession among the young and old.
I am in my 40's and when I look into the mirror and see wrinkles around my face, I run to the nearest drug store or jump on the computer in hopes of finding whatever product it is that the actor on tv are using because in my mind they are beautiful and if they can look like that, so can I, but then I stop and realize that it is only make-up and or plastic surgery that gives them the youthful apperance and that I need to stop and except the fact that I am beautiful, but there are some that dont realize this and it becomes an obsession, it is sad and it spreads like a virus in the youngs as they not only see it in their mothers, they live it everyday through tv and pressure's at school from the one's that have been brought up to act out such as ones like a Paris Hilton follower.
From birth up to adulthood, a parent must accept theirselves before their children reach the age's when they start taking notice of all apperance they see on tv becomes a obsession and that society lives in a world of perfect people, we are not a perfect world, there is big, small short, tall, and that is reality.
It apaulds me when I see woman starving theirselves and or going under the knife to become what they are not, each person is their own being and that is what God had in mind, if we were all the same, we would become one and there would be no more and as far as society and the pressure of being beautiful, we, the norm are, they are not, they are freaks in a side show acting out, crying in the inside for a life and the experience they will never have, except for the beauty outside.
