Only a fool would cheat on his or her spouse, however we all know it does happen. But, do we all know how to gain trust back in a relationship that has been damaged by such an event as cheating? No we don't. But, if you are a man and you have cheated on your spouse then you are probably in a position where you have no idea how to win back her trust.

Most men make the mistake of thinking that the problem will just go away. Well, it will not go away today or tomorrow. As a matter of fact, it will never go away. Your spouse will always have that horrible memory in the back of her mind no matter if she forgave you or not. The very subject will most likely be mentioned again and again in future arguements. That being said, you must prepare yourself and deal with it. A woman's mind works much like a time-bomb. It is ticking and ready to explode at any moment. Since you were the cheater, then you must take your medicine when that time does arrive and keep your mouth shut not to aggitate the situation any furthur.

If you would like to minimize future comments about what you did, then you need to step up to the plate and start earning her trust back. You must make every attempt to prove how sorry you are that you did such an aweful thing to her. She must be made to feel that she is number 1 in your life and there will never be another besides her. Over and over again you must remind her that you are an idiot and a moron for cheating on her. If you really want your relationship to remain, you will knock yourself down time after time. Here are a few things you can do to make her feel that you love her more than anything else in the world.

- Write little sweet notes on sticky paper and attach them to everything in the house before she comes home from work or wakes up from sleeping.
- Send her flowers and gifts to her job 1 or 2 times per week.
- Come home from work and tell her to relax and watch her favorite tv show because you are cooking and cleaning for her tonight.
- Everyday you should walk up behind her and spoon her, kiss her neck and grab her behind gently while telling her how much you love her.
- Make plans every weekend that include her such as going to a park or the zoo. Take a 30 minute walk with her every other day or so.

Long story short, you need to make every part of your life to include her too. You need to show your woman that you love her and you are sorry for what you did. If you are still with the woman you cheated on, then that means she really loves you and she is waiting for you to make things better. Guys, it is up to you to make the marriage work if you cheated on your spouse. The problem will not magically disappear. You have to shower her with love almost to the too much point. You need her to put what you did in the back of her mind and keep the relationship going forward. If you fail to make an effort, she will leave you forever and you know how the old saying goes..."You don't know what you've til' it's gone!"
