Of course the bad press facing the Pats this year is fair. When they were caught videotaping the Jets' sidelines, it was crossing the line. Now look, that doesn't taint their past success. The Super Bowls and the 21 game win streak doesn't change because they videotaped an opponent in 2007 that will probably end up winning about 3 or 4 games. And besides Belichick has brought this on himself. He is really made the target on his back that much bigger every time he goes for a touchdown on 4th down when they easily go for a field goal. And the Patriots' target on their back has become astronomically huge with fans. Now already having approximately 2% of their fans outside of New England, with an percent error of plus or minus 2, they are really not making a good case for themselves as a lovable, and border-line bearable, team. Belichick has really opened the door wide open to the criticisms of the media and the scrutiny of the other teams. And their invention of desserts that don't actually exist, I mean really, "Humble Pie", doesn't it seem like they have been having "Cocky Cake". Yeah, that's right, Cocky Cake. Eat it New England! Now that I have completely digressed from my original point I think now would be a good time to restate my thesis. The Patriots are getting everything they deserve. Even Tom Brady, the so-called Golden Boy, has faced scrutiny, primarily from me, for his actions with Bill Belichik. It would seem that Brady sees Belichick as the unquestioned and infallible leader and...oh no. The New England Patriots are a cult. Think about it: matching uniforms, same dialouge when talking about the 16-0 possibilty, the chant of "Team First", I mean really, how do you think Randy Moss came from the Oakland Raiders a shadow of his former playing self and all of a sudden he is catching 4 touchdowns in one half...I knew it! Bill Belichick is brain-washing his players with his humble pie! He even has t-shirts that say it. He's hiding in plain sight people! We need to stop him soon. Thankfully when they play the Dolphins at 0-14 they will walk into Foxboro 14-0 and leave 14-1.

The press the Patriots have gotten is fair simply because it is newsworthy. They used video taping schemes to steal signs.
