Do we realize the amount of potential power of those who wield the pen instead of the sword? How aware are we, as writers, of our ability to create a new perspective for those who read our thoughts and perspectives, our hopes and joys? I think it is time that we all begin to take some responsibility for the marvel of this gift, and share not just our own stories, but share the Hope and the Light of a united world

When we ask ourselves "how can I help?" we can look to our individual potential through the power of the pen. We who are blessed with any creative spirit must learn to use these gifts with purpose, and intention! Not to divide, but to gather and to unite like minds. This is my purpose, my intent, and my hearts desire, that in some small manner, we too can put forth the energy to pull people together, to open the eyes of those seeking ways to assume responsibility for creating a better world.

I believe this is one of the reasons why we are given the desire, even the driving "need" to write, to share thoughts and promote peace with the power of language, and the potential of words. The strength of online writing communities can, and do, gather and share the energy and potential of uniting not just a few minds, but the minds of the whole world,

These are my thoughts, but they are the thoughts also of millions of others who seek also to stop the madness and unite our humanity. Let us all strive to unite in mind and energy, and in the power of the pen.
