Ah Vermont. The maple syrup, the ski resorts, the views, and...the ice cream? Those are the things Vermont is most known for, and the main reasons why people hurry to the state every winter. The skiing in Vermont is nearly unparalleled throughout the world, and its easy to see why. With gorgeous views, excellent powder, and great trails, Vermont has a little bit of everything. The secret is to find the resorts with the best scenery.
Sugarbush is one area of Vermont that some skiers simply can't seem to get away from. One trip there is like stepping back in time. There are seldom any of the large crowds found in other areas, which makes it a favorite among locals. There are also great views, and gorgeous white snow. Keep one eye on the mountains, and one eye on the valleys.
Jay Peak is another great Vermont ski resort with excellent views. Here you'll find the best the state has to offer in terms of views, and some excellent trails. Jay Peak has more snowfall annually than any other ski resort in the state, and this only adds to the breathtaking views. Imagine waking in the morning to find a sheer white face on the mountain, untouched by any other person. Wake early enough, and you'll have the chance to experience this for yourself.
Vermont is gorgeous, there's no doubt about it. Out of the dozens of ski resorts located in the state, the best views and greatest scenery can be found at Sugarbush, and Jay Peak. A trip to those resorts will give you memories that will last forever.
