Is online video/Internet TV here to stay?

My mom home schools' us and she asked me to write about the question "is the online video/ TV here to stay?" The first thing I have to ask is the internet going to get better or worse? Also, I ask myself is it safe to get into new media with so many options the internet has? The answer is yes. It's that simple YES! There's no such thing as too many options and its only going to get better.

Just look at Y2K there was a huge commotion about the computers crashing and sending us into the Stone Age, but it never happened, in fact, we as Americans have got more advanced. We actually got so advanced there are people getting mad their internet won't go fast enough to their liking.
Another question, "is do you have kids?" If so, they most likely have Xbox live or some sort of game that you can go on the internet and play with people across the world. In reality he's probably made some friends. Like me I know people from there late 30s to about 8 years old playing online video games. You can even buy stuff and sell things.
Enough about games and Y2K, lets talk about the internet itself. There are a few million people on the internet every day. Just look at youtude there are hundreds of uploaded posts, TV clips, movies, and even commercials and its still growing. Let's look back in youtube history. Do you remember when the numa numa guy got over one million hits and posts setting a new record, and there are still people that haven't seen it yet. Even some companies are using the internet to commercialize things that TV say are too graphic. Now what else can you do on the internet? Lets see how about buying and selling. EBay, Eastbay, and kijiji. I'm pretty sure every one knows about eBay. EBay is all about buying and selling. EBay is known all threw America for selling your old and new stuff. There are hundreds of things you can buy cars, toys, games, electronics, and clothes. What if you want to find something? There's Google, yahoo, ask.com, and many more. Let's talk about Google a few years ago my Uncle Harry and Aunt Linda had an idea about finding our family tree for our family reunion and show it off. How did they do it? First they went to Google and found that we were related to the president Monroe and we were related to Clark in the Lewis and Clark exhibition. Still there are thousands of things on Google, yahoo, and ask.com. We got buying selling and entertainment out of the way how about communications. Email AOL, yahoo, and more. The internet is good for communication because if you want to talk to a friend across the world for no extra cost email is the way to go. Like me I just purchased a game from EBay and the guy I purchased it from was from Kansas and I wanted to know if the game was scratched and he told me no and sent me pictures of the CD it wasn't scratched. Myspace on Myspace there are hundreds of people like my brother being the cool teenager he is he's friends with a lot of supermodels, bikini modles, and rappers he never would have met those people if it wasn't for the internet.
Finally is the internet going to get better or worse? My personal opinion and thousands like me say yes. I personally know at lest 15to35 kids my age 15 that use the internet to buy, sell, talk, find information, and play. So don't worry if the younger people are going to stop using the internet because they won't. Also there are a few predictions by pros that the use of the internet will grow from 30-75%. For example Emarket says it will increase in 6 years by 50%
In conclusion the internet is for buying, selling, communication, entertainment. Kids and adults love the internet, and there is no reason it is not going to grow. So yes, the internet is here to stay in my opinion and hope.
