How to fight pregnancy fatigue

and yogurt for all of us to drink.

Try to drink eight glasses of water a day. Is that why I felt like passing out for so much of my first pregnancy? It keeps you hydrated, which is good for both of you. Cut down on the caffeinated drinks. I had to have some caffeine, because I don't think I would have survived. One night when my husband and I went to a movie with friends, they all yelled at me for ordering a Pepsi.

Exercise is good for you and the baby.
If you're already working out ask your doctor if it is okay to keep doing. If you want to start a new exercise routine ask the doctor first. With my first baby I didn't work out, because I didn't have time. With my second pregnancy, I rode an indoor bike, for the first five months, and switched to walking when the weather was better. Walking in fresh air works wonders for you and the baby, and helps you get a good night of sleep.

In the final months, sleeping becomes more difficult, especially for people who can only sleep on their side. Buy some large pillows and put them on either side while lying down, or buy pillows just for pregnant women. Two weeks before I had my first baby, I rolled over on my side in the middle of the night. The baby pummeled me with those little fists, or his feet, I'm not sure which, but I was so scared, I didn't sleep until after he was born.

Carrying extra weight is tiring, and by the last couple of months you not only weigh more, but you can't even see your feet anymore. When you can, try to take a nap, even ten minutes rest is better than nothing. Elevate your legs as often as you can. It will help with the fluid retention, and help keep those unsightly veins away.

Take care of yourself, eat healthy, try to get some sleep, exercise, and if all else fails, just keep saying"It's only for a couple of months." Then, you'll be able to hold your little bundle of joy, and enjoy the baby you created for the rest of your life.
