How to fight pregnancy fatigue

How to fight pregnancy fatigue-

I was exhausted for an entire month. I was working full time and my days off were spent sleeping as late as I could, and lying on the couch feeling like I was run over by a truck. I thought that I had some mysterious ailment, like mononucleosis, that the doctor could diagnose and it would clear up by taking antibiotics.

I never thought that I was pregnant. My doctor wouldn't even see me. I was directed to a gynecologist, that in ten minutes not only found out I was pregnant, but also handed me a prescription for vitamins, and a daily menu of correct foods to eat.

This was my first pregnancy, and I asked friends, and co-workers what to do and how to take care of myself. I was asked every personal question imaginable, and told so many horrifying birth stories, that I became too afraid to have the baby. When I became pregnant again seven years later I turned to the Internet, and the nurse at the doctor's office. On my first visit, I asked so many questions the nurse told me, that because I was already doing a good job, and that I would have a good pregnancy.

I didn't want to do just a good job, like I did with my first pregnancy; I wanted to do a great job. Here's what I learned that you could use to have a great pregnancy:

For the first couple of months, your body is changing, and building up the placenta for the baby, and your hormones are changing too, so you'll be more tired than usual. If you're taking vitamins, eating right and exercising, then you'll be in good shape. Talk to your doctor if she didn't give you a prescription for those horse pill vitamins that contain a lot of iron.

Everything you eat and drink, the baby eats and drinks.
Eat healthy. My doctor gave me a menu of what I was supposed to eat every day. But I didn't eat it all because there was so much on the menu that's all I would have been the size of a house. If you can, try to eat five to six small meals a day. That way you can work in all the things you are supposed to eat and hopefully you won't be hungry and want to eat a lot of junk.

Forget the chips and the cheesecake. Eat high protein snacks like nuts, peanut butter, or yogurt, or drink a glass of milk. Snack on cut up carrots, or celery. Your body will thank you, because not only are you eating healthy to feed the baby, but also your hair will get thicker, and your skin will feel so much better. Make yourself fruit smoothies. During my second pregnancy my husband made yummy fruit smoothies with milk, strawberries
