Where in the world is Traverse City?

Rated as a premier golf destination, I can tell you from experience that you will love the challenge of the sport as well as the hospitality of the people of Traverse City, Michigan. Traverse City depends on its tourism industry for growth and revenue. That said, Traverse City goes all out to make your stay there a memorable one. The simply magnificent views and rolling hills makes this quaint city one of Michigan's most popular traveled cities. Famous for its Cherry Festival and spectacular fall color display, Traverse City has earned top rank in the golf world for destinations. Its open atmosphere welcomes travels from around the world.

The people of Traverse City are also very passionate about their dining diversity. Enjoy homegrown apples, cherries and fresh catch fish. Native Perch, Whitefish and Salmon are prepared in restaurants with expertise. Delicately displayed on plates by world class chefs who take great pride in their unique presentations.

Golf Magazine has rated Traverse City among the top 10 destinations for premier golf. With courses designed by Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player to name a few. The natural terrain of woods, rolling hills and water will leave a awe inspired impression in your mind. Golf in Traverse City, Michigan will impress you with the full luster of this sensational city.
One of the most visually explosive courses is Interlochen Golf Club. Located among the lush green forest of towering pines and hardwood trees. Immaculately groomed fairways and smooth greens invite golfers of all skill levels to test themselves. White-tail deer, Canadian geese and wild turkeys are common sites throughout the picturesque terrain. The Betsie River entwines itself through the scape and adds to the attraction of the Interlochen Golf Course. The most difficult holes on the course is without a doubt the back to back 12th and 13th. The 12th is a sprawling 530 yard par 5 and the 13th is a grueling 455 yard par 4. The dense woods along the fairway make it challenging to reach these greens and save par. So, bring your "A game" and enjoy this wonderfully built course. A full Pro-shop provides service for all your needs and a first class restaurant will satisfy your hunger.

Antrim Dells Golf Course is another one of Michigan's finest. Covering over 6,600 yards of gorgeous landscape, this course is a favorite among the locals and tourists
