Poetry: Humorous

Ordinary

It was an ordinary morning
It was an ordinary day
There were just ordinary people
The sky was ordinarly grey

The streets were ordinarily busy
The busses ordinarily late
My hair was ordinarily frizzy
My jeans too tight, my top a state

I felt so ordinarily sleepy
The day seemed ordinarily long
A Monday ordinarily creepy
Was ordinarily creeping on

And then a new exciting feeling
An extraordinary flash
A turning point, a new beginning
A stroke of luck, a lucky crash

If only you were running slower
If only i was walking strait
We would have passed without knowing
Each other's ordinary day

But suddenly the sun was shining
Through stars that danced before my eyes
And when i rose your lips were smiling
Your Soothing voice just showed surprise

The waiting room was rather empty
Just you and i, first patients in
Romance began and never ended
So ordinarily things begin!
