Corecon Technologies, Inc., is headquartered in Huntington Beach, California and has seen impressive revenue growth over the past. Corecon 2007, their primary product, is a web-based estimating, project management and job cost control software that integrates all aspects of the construction business process.

The software is built using Microsoft's .NET 2.0 platform and SQL Server 2005. The software provides companies with the ability to manage their contacts, track leads and analyze lead conversion. The WorkBreakdown Structure helps to create estimates while the Bid Management feature allows users to track subcontractor and supplier bids. Industry standard cost databases can be accessed through this software. You have the option of creating your own cost database too. The project management capabilities are fairly standard and simple to use and understand. One can distribute construction documents electronically, keeping them in one centralized location, track compliance and related issues, monitor Tasks and Schedules, create budgets and track changes, and track expenses with Procurement and Time Tracking features. Corecon also provides built-in collaboration for partners like subcontractors, suppliers, architects etc. The Corecon Handheld solution allows users to access data from their mobile phones. Corecon 2007 has several built-in wizards that help to automate tasks. Besides, Corecon integrates with other accounting systems and shares data with other products like Outlook, Word, Excel and Project.

The company offers various training options. They also offer custom training packages both on-site and off-site. It has a useful online help system which provides detailed information and about 70 + pre-recorded on-demand training videos. For new users, Corecon offers Cheat Sheets which show how all the features are integrated and provides a road map on what to do first. Telephonic software support is available during between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm PST. Customers can interact with Corecon technical staff via email with questions and also participate in user forums for sharing experiences. With built-in dashboards and over 450+ reports, it provides the management team a complete picture of the project to make quick and informed decisions. Clearly the product is a winner.
