Is there laughter in heaven?

Laughter in heaven is what I expect to hear when I go beyond the space here on earth. As I climb the golden steps to get to heaven the laughter is heard. Sounds of children will be laughing as they play with their friends. This is the sound that one can never get enough of.
The way I believe that my dad is now after his death is sitting around with all of his friends laughing joking and having a good time. There were many of his family members that have passed on to heaven. They had some children that past on the way to heaven. One in particular was a small girl about 5 years old died from a mosquito bite. She went to sleep and never woke up. Her name is Angle she was always smiling and laughing so I am sure God has her with him as she plays with all of his precious children. The Old Folks are just there watching and laughing as they look down on us.

It smells of laughter as one reaches the gates to heaven. Everywhere one walks there is laughing among the young and old. I understand that many of us would wonder how there should just be laughter but in my mind there would only be happiness and laughter comes with this.
The bible states that we would rejoice and it could only be these sounds that would be cause from such happiness as we sit with GOD. God has had many of sadness as he watches the world so laughter would make him so happy.
So, as I think about laughter in heaven that is what I believe God wants is happiness from us when we are returned to him. Do I really believe what I have written indeed yes. I think about how I will be with my Dad who I lost about 2 years ago while doing a procedure to check his heart. I never said goodbye or wished him good luck. I went with my mom into the waiting room and as we sat with other family members the time was long. The doctor came out and said it was not good. He died there that day! We never expected that this would happen an outpatient procedure but it did. So, I want to believe he is laughing and having a good time with his mother, father, and sister. Yes, I do. That is how I make it through the day.
My stepdaughter was killed in a car accident at the age of 18. I believe in my heart that she is safe and happy to be with her father and grandmother.
I am a 46 year old female Special Education Teacher for Severe/Profound for 14 to 17 year old students. I live each day on a promise that God will be carrying us home to be with our love ones.
