If your big day is slated for the fall season, then there should be a thematic purpose behind the motive. Fall weddings are rapidly becoming the busiest season for nuptuals. Fall weddings are filled with richly vibrant scenery, providing a beautiful backdrop to remember.
Albert Einstein said that "Gravity cannot be held responsible for two people falling in love", with fall being the operative word in the quote. A fall wedding, while non-traditional, can supply the lucky couple and all of the invited guests with a host of warm memories and fond recollections. Pictures taken during a fall wedding are breathtaking, with a whole host of nature's best colours on display, ready to be captured on film. The fallen leaves on the ground add a touch of class to outdoor pictures, as well as the multi-hued trees in the background.
If you are planning a fall wedding, you need to consider several factors, most importantly being the weather, which is out of your control, yet you need to be cognizant of Fall's penchant for cool afternoons and crisp evenings. This cooler weather, however, is the perfect scenario for the bride and groom, providing a comfortable environment in which to relax and enjoy their frenetic day.
A Fall wedding can be spectacular, and the photographs should turn out far superior to any taken during the spring or summer. Wedding themes are not the norm, but a Fall wedding theme could be Hallowe'en or Thanksgiving. A Hallowe'en wedding theme may not work due to the clumsiness of many costumes, and the fact that on the wedding day you are supposed to doff the masks and facades that you have adorned. Brown and orange clothing is quite pretty at this time of year, and show up nicely in photographs.
A Thanksgiving wedding them could see attire from the Pilgrims to any Pioneer apparel. The couple would be giving thanks to the heavens for bringing them together, to the parents of the bride and groom for supporting them, and to the guest for sharing their special day with them. All of the other guests and family and friends could be giving thanks for being included on their blessed day.
If you just want to marry in the fall, then you need to worry about fall friendly color schemes, such as earth tones, browns, reds, oranges and yellows. Fall leaves could be scattered around the tables rather than going with traditional flowers. The colors of leaves once they have lost their photosynthesis dominated green color can be quite beautiful.
Due to the tendency of Fall to be cool, the Bride and her Bride's maids should consider dresses that can easily be accessorized by a shawl or jacket for both comfort and convenience.
During the meal, apple cider could be the beverage fare, while for dessert pumpkin pies and apple pies would suffice. A roasted turkey could be the main course, tying in the notion of Thanksgiving.
All in all, Fall can be a fabulous time for a wedding, especially since there is a smaller amount of weddings occurring during fall, thus leaving all of your details easier to finalize. This, however, is becoming so trendy that you may want to book well in advance. Fall is catching up in popularity.
