Well as a Brit who has been fed a diet of David and Victoria for the past 8 years or so, I would say that the Beckhams will be able to give their children a very normal life in America despite the media attention, because, frankly, there will be far less media attention on them there than there ever was in Europe.
Here in the UK and Europe, David Beckham is one of THE biggest sporting stars we have ever known. His every move has been followed, and commented upon in the media since he burst onto the football scene as a tousle-haired youngster with Manchester United many years ago now. He was England's hero. The man who put us into the World Cup with that unforgettable free kick in the last minute against Greece, and whose photo adorned the bedroom walls of every young boy in the country. His move to Spain and Real Madrid did not lift this media pressure. After all he was still Captain of England, and if anything, Spain is an even more football-crazy country than England, so the pressure on him never abated.
His marriage to the glamourous Victoria Adams, "Posh Spice" from the phenomenally successful Spice Girls band, did nothing to alleviate the media pressure. With his looks and football success, combined with her looks, fashion sense, and musical fame, the two of them together came under even more public scrutiny. Some may say that Victoria openly courted this attention, especially after the Spice Girls split, and her star began to wane while David's rose, but certainly there was no way they could bring their three sons up away from media attention here in Europe. Every single thing in their lives - even simple things like first day at school or hsving a haircut - mae the front pages here in England, and when David had his much publicised affair with Rebecca Loos, the media were camped outside the Beckham's home for weeks.
In America though, I feel it may be different, - perhaps too different for the publicity hungry Victoria. Football is not a big game in the USA, and I understand that despite mainly just because the people there are generally not that interested in football. So young Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz Beckham can enjoy a relaxed upbringing away from the media spotlight, which meant their every move has been followed here since the day they were born.
Yes of course the Beckhams have more money than the average couple bringing up a family, but I don't think that this money is going to set them apart from other families in the Hollywood area where they have settled, so I'm sure that the Beckhams will be able to give their children a normal life in America despite media attention.
