All the time and effort that goes into planning the perfect day. You go to check out several locations, the perfect location, the one you have dreamt about since you were a little girl. The one with the fountains, flowers, gazebos, ice sculptures and beautifully polished dance floor.

The time has come and now a whole new vision dances in your head. You no longer picture the hall, the polished dance floor, not even the gazebo. Why not? Well it is simple you have grown and some of those things that seemed so important earlier in the planning stages are things that no longer tickle your fancy.

So where are you going to have it? What does the new place have to have that will make you scream yes this is the place? The comforts of home. The surroundings of home. The surrounding of familiarity. So where is that perfect place? Your backyard that is where.

So you set up with a tent and deck it out with just the perfect tulle and lighting, the flowers and the arch under which you will say your vows. The food is that of a BBQ. Dress is still formal after all this is your wedding. However the venue has changed and your backyard has just been turned into the most stylish wedding hall. The place you have grown up in and the place you have created memories in. Now you will create the memories that will be the host of happiness for the rest of your life. Your wedding day. The day two become one. The day that two make a huge committment, spend a lot of money, and look their best. You will do it in comfort and style. You will be the envy of your friends. At first I am sure there will be comments made about how you could not afford a more ritzy place. But who is to say what you spend or how much you spend makes the place any better than where the two of you choose to do it? Nobody has the right to judge you on where you have your reception. Your backyard is the best choice if that is where you choose to have your reception or for that matter your whole reception. So raise your glasses in cheers and celebrate the beginning of many happy years to come.
