NFL fans from all over the nation know just from watching, that this season has been exciting. You've got powerhouse teams like the New England Patriots that cannot be beat, and you've got under the radar teams like the Green Bay Packers that have proved themselves as contenders for sure. Nonetheless, my NFC Championship game prediction would be the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys. My AFC Championship game prediction would be the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots.

I am going to start with my AFC prediction because I know that I may have shocked you because I didn't pick the Colts. Well, its pretty simple why I chose who I chose. The Pittsburgh Steelers this year seem to have the hunger of a team pushing for their second run in three years to the Super Bowl. While the Colts won the Big Game last year, I think that Peyton Manning has just as much to prove as he did last year. He had pretty lackluster performances in two straight weeks against the New England Patriots in Week 9 and the San Diego Chargers in Week 10. Between these two conference games, Manning racked up 7 interceptions between the two games, a career-high six picks in the game against the Chargers. Now with those games in the past Manning needs to push himself and his team past their unfortunate losses and build enough hunger as they did last year at this time to push for another Super Bowl Run.

The New England Patriots have played stunningly amazing this year. They have dominated the offensive side of the ball and have showed their power on defense. New England's offense put up staggering numbers like their 39.4 points per game and their 428 total yards per game. At the same time they have a top 5 defense in the NFL allowing under 17 points per game and under 275 opponents yards per game which includes a measly 90 rushing yards per game. The passing connection of Brady to Moss is crazy, its like the new version of Montana to Rice. There is no doubt that the Patriots are going to show up for the Conference Championship game.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are arguably the next runner-up as they have the number one defense in the NFL. Their defense has allowed under 157 passing yards per game and only under 72 rushing yards per game. While their defense has put up stellar numbers, their offense has carried the load rushing the ball and they are currently ranked as the No. 5 offense in the league overall. They are the No. 2 rushing offense only under the Minnesota Vikings' offense,
