good eating habits and the right food choices can do a lot in keeping you successfully playing table tennis. You need to find the right balance between keeping your weight where it doesn't cause your joints undue stress and giving your body the right nutrients to build muscles and keeping your joints healthy.
Last but not least give your body time to recover. After practice pamper yourself with a relaxing bath, hot shower or massage. Do not underestimate the importance of taking breaks between and during training sessions. Your brain is working overtime during table tennis with it's fast pace and short reaction times you need time to clear the mind so you can go back to playing refreshed .
A lot of injuries happen when the athlete is tired and cannot concentrate properly. Healthy sleeping habits are an essential part of a successful athlete's life. Along with physical exhaustion sleep helps to prevent emotional distress. Being overly aggressive can lead to injuries as well as frustration, desperation or any other feeling that clouds the mind.
