The real goal of education

The real goal of education is to prepare students for life as an adult in the real actual world of work. This requires instilling a spirit of competition, providing them with the basic skills for survival in a capitalistic society and giving them the necessary educational background to stand on in a competitive work environment.

In order to make choices good or bad, schools must educate the students to such a degree that their education and training works for their betterment when they enter the workforce or the realm of higher education. We live in a competitive society so students must acquire skills that would enhance their chances of competing against others for jobs, economic opportunities and higher learning.

Skills that are basic to survival in a competitive society are basic math, English, grammar, basic biology and science. Vocational courses provide more opportunities so that a student competing for a job has the necessary marketable skills that employers want.

Students in modern day America must be provided with a wide variety of opportunities for job training through the use of vocational programs. Programs that teach marketable skills to students that would enable them to survive in our modern day society are invaluable. Schools must educate students with competition for resources (jobs) in mind. In our society if you can't compete, you don't survive.
