Congress is a mess. President Bush's numbers maybe low but pale in comparison with Congress's. We the voter let one issue give power to a certain political party. This one issue has bogged down the entire Legislation.

It was easy to see this debacle coming. We as a nation elected a Congress that was put in place because America wanted change. There was no clear definition of this change but it would be change. Heck, I'll promise you change too. Please don't ask me how but I will bring change. I am going to use that in my next job interview.

What was the Democratic strategy beyond promising change? There were no plans written, no ideas generated just a group of people that played on the emotions of their constituents. Now we all suffer from our lack of looking at the real issues. We forgot to identify those who can lead and those who blow smoke up our backsides. The American people do not like to be lied to. Who does? Now Congress is getting its due from the polls.

Watching the Democratic debates all I hear is the word change. Aren't most of the candidates Senators? You are asking for my vote when you are part of a group that is ranked the lowest of all time. Dare I say that change is actually voting Republican next year? I dare.

Give President Bush credit. At least he sticks to the issues that are important to him. This has lead to his numbers being low but I respect the man who does what he says he will. In no way will I agree with everything he has done but his convictions are his own.

As a nation can we all agree to vote for someone who will do something? All these smoke blower candidates are crowding the scene. Will the real Democratic Leader please stand-up? I didn't think so. I guess I'll turn to real leadership and the GOP.
