Be yourself, live minimally, learn to say no to your children, downsize your home, downsize your car, enrich your understanding of the world, volunteer within your community, etc... The riches of the world are found in the depth of our relationships with ourselves and our surroundings. It requires a healthy dose of respect for all, belief knowing that everything has its place and purpose whether or not we have the knowledge to understand that relationship yet.
Where poverty is present, ignorance precedes. Helping poverty with money fuels and perpetuates financial poverty. Yes it takes longer to educate but it is the right path. Riches is not measured by the size of your assets but by the depth of your relationships.
Let peer pressure subside and let your devotion to humanity flourish. Give your thoughts, help, knowledge to others without merit or credit. To do this in abundance brings forth true riches. As you share your knowledge with others, your will benefit as well. If you listen without discrimination and without prejudice, you will grow as well. Believe this is the way, regardless of your faith and past experiences.
