Despite the recent Federal indictment, which is probably based on a thick tissues of facts versus the thin tissue of lies spouted in self-defense by our hero, we should support Barry Bonds for the following reasons:

Who gives a damn about cheating any more?

It reinforces the message our kids see everyday on TV: Say Yes To Drugs.

Freakishly big heads are in fashion.

Steroids, smeariods I like homeruns.

Barry Bond's dad was a nice guy.

Think of his children.

Blind sports loyalty should be enough to overturn any law.

Barry said he didn't cheat.

Mark McGuire got away with it, so why not Barry?

Baseball is the great American past time; it should be above the law.

Think of the fans in McCovey cove.

If we don't support him it would hurt the economy because his balls wouldn't sell.

What would we do with all the Barry bobblehead dolls?
