A Love Dance
A heart and soul wandered alone in the night;
Another feels the presence as the moon cast its light;
the sun slowly rising, the sky warmly aglow;
with soft colors upon the waters, the tide changes flow;
two waves were joining as they rushed to the shore;
two hearts were beating as one evermore,
a beautiful moment for love took its chance,
the souls filled with joy, began a new dance;
why then should a heart be filled with such sorrow;
for that moment was lost, it never saw a tomorrow;
the tide now ebbing once again it is dark;
a heart and soul wanders empty for Love left its mark.
