Meaning of Life

Why do we live?

When the question "Why do we live here ?" is asked, one of a variety of questions may be implied, such as: "What is the meaning of life?","What is the origin of life?","What is the nature of life (and of the universe in which we live)?","What is the significance of life?","What is the purpose of, or in, (one's) life?",and "What is valuable in life?"Some answers have been given, deriving from religious thoughts, scientific theories, or philosophical, theological, and spiritual explanations.

But this question divides mainly the people into two major groups, between the believers in God and the atheists (who do not believe in God). According to the believers and from their different religious sources it is known that all they speak about the concept of God (the creator of universe), As He sent messengers to his human being for the guidance of them and to give awareness how to live life here and to act upon his commandments so He gives use a short passage of life here to go through test of living here and when the test will be finished by the limited time of period we would have to leave this earth to meet him on the Day of Judgment.

Furthermore, studying more the religious scriptures it is come to know that the purpose of our lives here is "To worship and Glorify God". Some of the major religious scriptures speak same about the purpose of life as following words:

Here are a few passages from the LDS Scriptures about the subject "why do we live here".
Moses 1- (37) And the Lord God spoke unto Moses, saying: The heavens, they are many, and they cannot be numbered unto man; but they are numbered unto me, for they are mine. (38) And as one earth shall pass away, and the heavens thereof even so shall another come; and there is no end to my works, neither to my words.(39) For behold, this is my work and my glory-to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

The Holy Bible states that it is God "in whom we live and move and have our being" (Acts 17:28).
The notion here is that they respond to a higher authority who will give their lives meaning and provide purpose through a relationship with the divine. The Bible says that to fear God is the beginning of wisdom, and to depart from evil is the beginning of understanding.
Another Biblical example is given as follow
Micah 6:8, which states "He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
