I will attempt to crunch and base my list on a few things other than simple taste, like social importance, influence, cutting edge styling, and quality of songwriting. Actually a few lists are appropriate because there are many ways of viewing this genre. In the first list I will name songs that have made a profound impression on the pop music genre.
