Poetry: Love

Brave warrior blood stained on the field,
a mighty ax he wielded,
dying hoping his lover will come back,
the place he goes everything is black,
word was sent to her, but he feels his fate sealed.

Laid upon a messenger to arrive in time,
heart beating hoping to see him again alive,
in his trembling hands the reigns,
seeing the stab, the wound and his pains,
his horse gallops lightning fast, hoping he will be fine.

Geliebt his cherished companion hears the report,
that her lover, Mchtrag was stricken down near the fort,
her eyes become deep pools of rain that fall down the side of her face,
she demands that she must go to the place,
this is when she lived the writings of the pages of lore.

While her warrior, Mchtrag lays,
thinking of those clear wonderful days,
her hair so rich so beautifully dark and free,
the blood begins to rush out his extremities,
dying slowly under the bright sun rays

He closes his eyes.

His mind drifts out of this one,
his heart feels torn to dark from the bright sun,
his clenching hand upon his ax loosens,
`I won the war but did I really win?'
Drifting, pondering what he had really lost and won.

His armor feels heavy, his heart feels slow,
tragic, trapped, and alone,
a shadow hovers of his closed eyes,
knowing that the sun has too betrayed his mind,
her tears bring him back from the unknown.

There hovering like an angel, like an answered prayer,
like a beam of golden light entering a dark mountain or lair,
her tears a sweet caress of fate,
taking him from his dying place,
opening his eyes to a holy glare.

Geliebt bringing a smile, bringing her love,
back to him from above,
her energy, aura and tears sparked mystical power,
to heal, to seal the wound with a touch of a flower,
giving him eternal life, death was stunned.

Some say it was just a rain of salty tears,
more than chance played the flute for that day and for those years,
like the wood of a roaring hearth,
the flame is love and the wood is hearts,
Geliebt & Mchtrag live eternally burning together without fear.
