So, you want a "new" domain name for your "new" website. First of all, decide what are you attempting to communicate to everyone visiting your website. Do you want your visitors to remember a product or service for branding the site? Or, do you want them to remember a catchy phrase or "social" lingo that identifies your website?
Next, begin writing and typing your "new" domain name ideas. Does it make sense? Is it easy to type? Can anyone understand the website or product? Next, ask your friends and associates for their input. Review their suggestions and revise your names if necessary. Go to a domain registrar site. I use Godaddy.com. Why? After you input your desired domain name, Godaddy.com alerts you if the name is available or currently in use. Godaddy.com also gives you hints and ideas for other available domain names that are similar to your desired domain name.
