Great gifts for NASCAR fans

I am not only a NASCAR fan and love receiving those gifts, I also give them to others in my family and friendship circle that are NASCAR fans as well. Conclusively, I happily know both sides of the fence.

The most important thing for you to know when buying a NASCAR fan a gift is their favorite driver's number and name. In sports like football, basketball, and baseball it's usually a team or team colors that is important.

However, in NASCAR, while drivers are part of a team organization (such as Hendrick Motor Sports or DEI), a NASCAR fan usually has one favorite car or number.

Now you may ask: Isn't the same driver always the same number? Not necessarily, as the case of Dale Earnhardt Jr. shows. It seems he was destined to be Budweiser number 8 car forever, but this all has changed recently.

His dad however, while he passed away a few years ago, will always be known for driving the number 3 car. Many people still consider him their favorite driver and would enjoy any racing related merchandise relating to the Chevy Goodwrench number 3.

Don't worry if all this sounds confusing. You don't have to remember all this, it is just to illustrate that unlike buying for a football, basketball or baseball fan it is a good idea to just ask the person you are buying who their favorite driver is outright, to prevent a possible mistake.

SIT-UPON
A basic sit-upon is a seat cushion and anyone that has ever gone to any stadium-sporting event will know its function and why to use it. The better ones come with carrying straps and have zippered compartments and storage space. Since the rules are very strict on how many and what type of bags can be brought into a stadium, these would be a great gift not only for comfort, but to create some extra space for odds and ends needed to make watching the race more comfortable.

RACE SCANNER
While they come in generic form, the ones that come personalized with driver numbers make even better gifts. Just like any other sporting events, fans that go to a race track will never get tired of items that showing their visible support to their drivers. While a scanner is one of the more expensive options, to
