Honest telecommute jobs and how to search for them

It's most people's dream, to be able to work anywhere and everywhere. To be able to stay home and simply work off their computer and internet connection, to be able to receive a decent income while still have a quality of life. Does honest telecommute jobs exist? And where do you search for them?

Instead of responding to the first "Work From Home! Earn $1000+ a week typing!" job ads you see, job ads that con you into contacting them, then talk you into paying them some money before you get to start working.

You might only be working for $50 a week before they ask you to purchase their 'Premium Package' so they can offer you better jobs. There are definitely something better than these. you are better off checking with a qualified recruitment company or seek within a large corporation.

Recruitment companies these days have plenty of temporary or vocational jobs that need done, and a lot of them do only require you to have access to a computer, have good typing skills and organization skills, and have access to the internet. Jobs ranging from typing up meeting minutes, compiling research papers, doing personal assistance tasks and editing business proposals.

When approaching recruitment companies, make sure you specify your job preferences to indicate you are looking for a telecommute job. This way, when they do contact you, you are sure the job will be suitable for your criterion and all you have to do it win it off other candidates.

Many large corporation these days promote work from home. Real estate is becoming expensive for them to manage offices so instead they offer employees the choice of working in the comfort of their own home, earning full time or part time salary, just with a negotiation to work perhaps a little longer hours than usual.

If you have a professional skill, such as secretarial skills, computer programing skills or accounting skills for example, this may be the best way to go, as the pay will be a decent corporate pay, and you are entitled to all the employee benefits such as holidays and sick days. Best to have a resume prepared, show that you are the best person for the job and you can work unsupervised. Many corporations will either advertise online or in newspapers and your way to a telecommute job is simply an interview away.

Another way to get into a telecommute job, is to create one. Do you have business experiences? Can you be paid to provide a service to others? These can be anything from writing, to teaching to having your own online store. However before going into this venture make sure you seek the advice of those who have been in the same position, talk to them about the advantage and disadvantage of managing your own business or service, on how to advertise them, on the different tax system you'll need to learn and to continue the income flow.

There is no reward without hard work, and there is no work without seeking for it. Honest telecommute jobs may be hard to find and create however with persistence it is possible to land in that ideal position and spend some quality time with your family.
