Worship: A love relationship

Worshiping God is the only one purpose man was created for. The bible tells us that God created man for His pleasure. Worship is directed to an object of admiration. When we come before anything or anyone with total adoration and admiration and in total awe, it can be said we are worship such an object or person.

Worshiping God is more than singing and lifting up our hands in churches or religious gathering, it transcends human comprehension. It is a spiritual act and is a moment of emotional involvement with our husband.( Isaiah 54) says your maker is your husband. Remember in the bible calls the sin of fornication and adultery a sin against oneself. It is the only sin so called, because when you lay with a woman there is an exchange of fluid, substance and spirit. That is why God says no until you are married. And the two shall become one. Be cause sex brings two people that are apart to be one.

Worship is exactly the same. You become like the God you worship. In Corinth Paul describes how we grow from glory to glory into the image of our Lord by beholding His presence. Spending time with God brings us to a place of glory, and alikeness. Remember that Gods mission, to restore us to our original position of being like Him. We were created in His image and likeness to dwell in His presence and worship, but man fail to Satan's temptation and God worked a way through Jesus His son to restore all man kind to a place of glory, but can only be achieved when we do our part by spending time with Him and listening. When you are in love you listen to each other, spend time with each other, adore each other and just love each others presence. And with time you begin to think alike, speak alike and even do things alike. The natural is a reflection of the spiritual. So when we spend time with the father we become like Him, think like Him, and begin to do things like Him. We imbibe His character, integrity, and all that makes Him God. That is why you need to be careful what you worship or who you worship because you become just like them.

When we worship, we exchange something for something. There is an exchanged of fluid, substance and spirit. Our garment of sin and shame is being exchanged for His garment of righteousness. Our life becomes more meaningful, we laugh more, we tolerate more, we forgiver more, we love more, and we become more spiritual because that is Who He is. God is spirit, and those who worship most worship in spirit and in truth.
