Sadness Calls
Sadness bid's me to its side
Causing me to frown
I live in this sea of loneliness
Driving away all i see
No one wants me
For i am not for the taking
No one needs me cause i am not free
No one wants a soon to be divorcee
It takes time to gain your freedom
But whats the point if your just gonna give
It away to some stranger
You seemed so right
You seemed so nice
But now i see trough you
You didn't want me for me
But you wanted me for my captivity
And i don't want to hurt you
But it will never work
We were never meant to be

The woman on the bike ahead,
Was peddling steadily,
Her shopping bags hung on the bars,
They swung so rhythmically.

My heart beats just a bit quicker,
I press my hands to my chest.
