PETA's Kentucky Fried Cruelty campaign is a non-violent protest against Kentucky Fried Chicken after shocking and graphic information was discovered about the cruel and in-humane happenings that go on in the processing and making of Kentucky Fried Chicken.
The global food chain phenomenon famous for having 'The Colonel' as their public image and mascot are rightfully under fire after a video was leaked from a PETA investigation which shows the actual disgusting cruelty that goes on behind the scenes.
This cruelty, which includes drugging and mass breeding, is what goes in to the making of this 'Specialty'. The chickens themselves are mass produced in factories without care, without hygiene and without lives. They are forced to live with torture and drugging so they grow too large for their body's to handle. The majority of them live with broken legs before they are faced to LIVE torture before they are processed in to a bucket. This torture includes de-beaking, in which a chicken is man-handled with no care, has their beak forced into a machine and then snapped off why they are still living and breathing. If this isn't enough agony, their wings are then broken, their legs snapped and they are then dunked in a de-feathering machine, which is basically seething hot enough to take the feathers straight from their live body. The chickens are alive for this entire process, and are forced to suffer as they are mass produced into buckets of chicken. This is an on going process which simply repeats itself time after time, chicken after chicken, all of which have been bred for this specific purpose, forced to suffer a tortured life until they meet their inevitable demise.
Tell me now, where is the humane aspect in this food processing? When you dip your hand in to a bucket of chicken, just realize what you are eating. You are eating a bucket of torture, nothing more, nothing less. JUST a bucket of torture. After this graphic video was released, this sparked off massive media attention. This particular campaign is fronted by the spokesperson, former baywatch star, Pamela Anderson, who is using her celebrity to spread the word for that Kentucky Fried CRUELTY is nothing more than a constant, on-going torture and murder house.
Do your bit and support this campaign, put an end to this mass produced torture for the better good, for the sake of the innocent animals suffering and for the sake of human health benefits. Everyone needs to know that this mass produced chicken is nothing more than mass produced junk made from a tortured and destroyed bird.
