The hidden arc of stars
Etches orbits 'cross the night.
We lie, transfixed, upon a cloud
Until the morning light.
The world around floats free
Before the hidden arc of stars.
Time itself, the weight of dawn,
Is trapped in golden bars.
As crimson fills the sky
We flee our nest of fluffy white.
The hidden arc of stars will serve
To guide us on our flight.
We'll find a place of wonder,
Maybe Jupiter or Mars,
And spend our days concealed among
The hidden arc of stars.

an ageless beauty that never ceases, nor decreases
it's there, just there
