Is is better to have a large or small group of friends? Well there are many answers to that question. With a small group of friends you get to know each other better. You can get inside the mind of nearly any one of your friends and you love them more. Whereas with a large group of friends you will have more friends and will not be lonely very often, but you do not know these friends as well. If you hang out with each friend an equal amount of time, you don't get to know them nearly as much as you would a small group of friends.

But having a large group of friends does have it's advantages. Personally, I have been ditched a pile of times in after school activities by my one friend that I hang out with the most. With having lots of friends, you can call any one of them and at least one of them is bound to go to the movies with you.
Then again, if they decide to turn on you you have lost a lot and you get a whole lot of glares while walking down the halls. If it is just as small group of friends to turn on you, there are plenty of other kids in the student body that will be willing to be friends with you. And with just a small group of friends you don't get as many glares and they can't spread the word of what you did as fast.
So really it is your choice whether you want to hang out with a large group of friends or hang out with a smaller group of friends.
