How to end animal homelessness

and Puppy Pills are all the rage in Europe but due to the current administrations policy of "abstinence only" programs many animals grow up in poor and stifling conditions. The lucky one's find foster homes through the persistence of annoying human co-workers, friends and family.

Lack of Affordable Health Care:

The rising costs of vet visits are a major factor in animal homelessness. Continued issues with ringworm, rabies, cat scratch fever, fleas, etc will usually result in an owner abandoning the infected animal on the side of the road as the human family cannot continuously absorb the high cost of said animals care.

Housing:

Affordable housing in connection with the lack of available government assistance programs have helped to contribute to the current housing crisis among animals.

Dogs, the biggest buyer of home among animals, have been hit the hardest. Foreclosures on dog houses have been on a steady rise due primarily to the expiration of said dog's adjustable rate mortgage.

Many animals that go from home to the street or to the wild', as animals call it, are unable to adapt to their living conditions. Many cats end up joining violent street gangs, known as alley cats, for protection and companionship.

In ending, together we can help end animal homelessness. Please remember to spay and neuter your pets.
