Jesse Jackson is what most of the black community calls a project pimp, and that was being nice from what allot of them call him.
Some of the blacks do look up to him, but the majority don't. Most of those that I have talked to don't support his Rainbow Collision' and some don't even support the N.A.A.C.P. any more. Jesse Jackson is not out to help the black people. He is out for him self and he spews hate along the way. If there is trouble around and he can be in the spotlight and with a camera around. He'll be there even if he has to stir up trouble. He is the racist that he claims to despise. Just like when the Duke Lacrosse Team. He was there trying to convict those dudes before all of the facts were in. Jesse is a self proclaimed leader of the black community. Along with Al Sharpton.
When Bill Cosby came out with his speeches about the black community some open their eyes about a whole lot of things and agreed with him. Yet with Bill Cosby the criticism that he came out with was meant for the blacks. It could be put to all races. We all could learn from what Bill Cosby said. Instead of trying to do something about that criticism Jesse ignored it, Al Sharpton commented on it and yet did nothing the same with the N.A.A.C.P. Of course if they did they would have nothing to gripe about.
Although the Jesse Jackson had been around when Martin Luther King was around he has trouble with King's famous "I have a Dream" speech. Jesse still believes that everything has to do with the color of ones skin. Martin Luther King was wanting to look at a person curator and there actions. Martin Luther King lived the life of a Christian and a Reverend.
