Tips for improving indoor air quality to prevent allergies

Indoor air quality can be acause of concern both at home and at office where they speny majority of their time especially for people suffering from allergies.Among allergy sufferers a comprimise with air quality can cause upper respiratory tract infections,breathing problems and headaches.
Here are some tips that can help you to maintain good indoor air quality.

1.Avoid smoking indoors.
2.Avoid wearing footwears indoors which is used outside the house keeping all dust and molds at bay.
3.Clean your fans,ventilating fans in bathrooms and kitchen clean.
4.Vaccum your beds,carpets,cushions where dust mites accumulate atleast weekly.
5.Provide good ventilation and air circulation indoors.
6.Do not burn any substances as charcoal or wood inside the house which can cause the formation of carbon monoxide.
7.Do not allow the moisture content of house to fall below dangerous levels.Prevent moisture content falling below 60% and temeperatuture to fall below 70* F.If these conditions are not followed it can favour growth of mold.
8.Clean any areas where you see mold growth with soap solution and then by using bleach solutions.
9.Do not allow any pet dander accumulation in the house by keeping your pets clean and cleaning the area where it lies.If possible keep pets in a seperate area of the house.Keep pets out of bedroom.
10.Use air purifiers with HEPA(HIGH EFFICIENCY PARTICULATE ARRESTOR)filter for all your bedrooms.
