Without a doubt, yes I believe that Soul Mates do exist. The unfortunate part of that belief is that although they exist, we don't always have the opportunity to find them or to obtain our link to them at the right place at the right time in our lives. The irony here though is that while they exist for us, sometimes the paths that we have previously chosen in our lives, puts them there and just out of our reach it would seem. But then you would have to ask the question, just what is a soul mate? I imagine that this may be defined differently by each individual. For me, a soul mate is just that. It is that one person that is able to reach into your soul and that you Will immediately know without hesitation they are the one. It's that person that you are so connected to that you can't imagine how it is even remotely possible that two people could share so many common bonds. Yes, it's the simple things like completing each other sentences, or loving the same movies, or the same sports. But what about knowing exactly almost word for word what someone is going to say before they say it. Knowing exactly what reaction you will get from them before you invoke it. Yes this all comes with getting to know someone better. If you are really into that person, in time you will be able to feasibly ascertain this. But there are signs, sometimes subtle sometimes so blatant they practically slap you in the face. But yes there are true signs, when it seems like just for a moment, the stars seem to align and everything in the world stands still and for that moment, you know, you absolutely know, whether you can have this person or not, they are and they were the one. I believe before we are born there was a person that was created just for us. But because of the paths that we choose in life that may or may not go against the path designed for us, we are not always given this person. Cruel as it may seem at times, punishment as it may seem for life not served correctly. They exist. They are real and only some of us are lucky enough to know it when we have it whether its for a lifetime or just a short time. I was lucky enough to meet mine. Although I will never have the opportunity for forever I feel very privileged for the short glance I had a the wonderful person I was linked to.
